Telehealth Policies
◉ All Counseling Services will be through a secure, HIPAA compliant telehealth link.
◉ Telehealth can be done anywhere that you have a private space without interruptions. Clients can have sessions on work breaks, at home, school, basically; any space that is located within the state of Pennsylvania.
◉ Please Note - A requirement of telehealth services through the state licensing board mandates that a client be in the state of Pennsylvania at the time of service.
◉ The location you are in for each telehealth service must be shared with your Clinician in the event of a medical emergency or safety concerns during session.
◉ Telehealth services are professional counseling sessions and should be treated that way. Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Please do not complete other tasks while in session or have people stopping by while in session. If there are issues that come up in session with inappropriate boundaries or behaviors, the session will be canceled, and the full fee will be charged at that time.
Session costs and policies
◉ Free 15 minute consultation. I offer a free 15-minute phone call if needed, offering you the opportunity to make sure I am the right fit for you and your needs. Please use my online form to request your free consultation.
◉ Sessions are $150 for a 50-minute session and payment is due at the time of your service. All major credit cards & HSA/FSA cards are accepted.
◉ I do not accept insurance. I am considered an Out of Network Provider. I can offer clients a Super Bill that can be turned into your insurance company with billing codes which may assist you in getting a reimbursement from your insurance company. The best practice would be to call your insurance company and inquire about what your insurance policy allows for with Out of Network Providers (OON). Please be sure to share that you will be receiving your services over telehealth.
◉ Intake paperwork and consents must be signed before your 1st session. Paperwork will be found in your simple practice portal after your appointment is booked. When your appointment is booked, you will receive a link to set up your HIPAA compliant portal that only you have access to.
◉ A credit card will be required to book all appointments and that can be done in your portal.
◉ Cancellation Policy - All appointments require a 24-hour cancellation notice. Any appointments missed or not canceled within 24 hours will be charged with the card on file. All balances must be paid in full before attending another session.
◉ Sessions are available Monday 9 - 5 and Friday 9-5. Accommodations can be made if needed for other times.
